Jesus Conde Ayala

Spanish artist born in Archidona (Malaga) in 1953. He studied Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel in Hungary in Seville.

He is currently a Doctor and University Professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts “Alonso Cano” of Granada; Academic Of Fine Arts of Our Lady of The Angustias of Granada. Adviser and collaborator of the Andalusian Legacy. Member of the Archidona Cultural Foundation (since 1988), among other things. His artistic career includes numerous individual and collective exhibitions; numerous editions of individual graphic work, biennials and fairs at national and international level, as well as the realization of official portraits and numerous posters for national festivals, international championships (adviser of Cetursa at the ski world championships) and cultural events.

From his brushes emerges a luminous painting, in which the classical serves as the background to a more modernist and abstract vision of existence. Color scholar and explorer of the universes of drawing. He spends long hours (for example) researching green tones. His work is refined and elegant, in terms of proportionate, academic and balanced; yet it faces warmth with ice, classic Greece with the turbulent suburb that has touched us to live. Art is, in itself, vital pretext and ultimate object in his work.

His canvases, pictures and prints are hung in pinacotecas and institutions around the world, from the Museum “Casa de los Pisa” in Granada to the Vassa Museum of Art, in Finland, passing, among many others, through the Olympic Museum of Lausanne in Switzerland, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Madrid, the University of Granada, the Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg; Museum of Contemporary Art of Seville, etc.
