Although it is a relatively new technique (started in the United States in 1991), as the results are of high quality, today there are many prestigious artists who use it: starting with Rauschenberg (already at the end of the twentieth century); Thomas Ruff, Antonio López, Luis Gordillo, Rafael Canogar, Hernán Cortés and many more.
The durability of fine art prints or museum quality is superior to 100 years, in good condition of conservation, exhibition and with noble materials for its framing.
Inkjet printing in high quality printers of 12 mineral inks, which produce colors of great saturation, intensity and brightness; reaching the almost complete colour gamut.
The printer sprays the ink onto the surface of the paper or canvas, ensuring maximum fidelity and resolution of the original work.
The papers are museum quality, that is, they respect the standards set by ISO 9706 in terms of paper preservation: acid-free, or slightly alkaline to ensure maximum longevity under the appropriate exposure conditions. (Explained below).
Types of paper offered:
- Standard cotton paper of 240gr museum quality.
- 310gr photographic satin baritate paper, pure white museum quality.
- Watercolor paper of 310gr quality museum.
Types of canvases:
- Natural canvas of cotton of 310gr quality museum.
- Synthetic canvas of 310 gr museum quality.
Unframed works are shipped rolled into a rigid tube that protects them perfectly.
Those that are purchased framed, are shipped in an appropriate box and well protected for each size.
The sale can be done with frame or without frame.
Aluminum, white, black or steel frames are provided. The print is protected with a glossy crystal and a neutral ph pen back, with or without passe-partout, also neutral, to the buyer’s taste.
For fabrics or canvases, black, white or natural wooden frames are offered, mounted on a thin frame of pine (1.7 cm). They can also be purchased with or without rack; and with or without a frame.
The editions of the reproductions are always limited, supervised, serial and signed by the artist. The corresponding certificate of authenticity is delivered together with the work and is guaranteed by Milart.
Thus, it is a multiple original work for collectors. Original, unique and unique paintings are also sold in the online store.
And multiple originals of another type: photographs, engravings, sculptures, etc. The sizes of the reproductions are to be determined. (I’ll specify them with each work)
The smaller the limited edition, the higher the value of each work and vice versa. But all reproductions have their cultural value and exclusivity. (That is, the more the artist is revalued, the more market value they will reach.)
