Carmelo Trenado Tormo
Spanish artist, born in Murcia in 1949. Degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. Doctor of Fine Arts from the University of Granada. Professor of Painting of the latter Institution. Academic of number, and Conservator of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Granada.
He has prizes such as the Ateneo de Madrid, Villa de Fuente Alamo, the XVIII Rafael Zabaleta de Quesada Painting Competition, in Jaén or the Medal of Honor in the José María Párraga Painting Prize, Murcia, etc.
His work is in institutions such as the Ministry of Information and Tourism of Madrid, the ONCE Foundation, the Caja Granada Foundation, the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, the City Council of Murcia, the Provincial Council of Alicante, the Rector building of the University of Jaén, etc.
It is closely linked to Granada. “Carmelo Trenado is part, in its own right, of the great artistic station that currently exists in the city of Granada.
